Pod People is looking for an Assistant Project & Community Manager!
Time commitment: 10-15 hours/wk
Pay: $20-$25/hr depending on experience
Based: Anywhere in US time zones
Reports to: VP of Operations
Start Date: ASAP
Pod People needs a quick, creative individual looking to learn on the job and grow quickly into new responsibilities in our media startup. Experience in podcasting (preferably production) is a must. Experience in project management and/or arts administration is greatly preferred. The Assistant Project and Community Manager role would work especially well for individuals with ambition, self-motivation, and excellence in problem-solving.
Our organization is international and remote work is the norm for us. This is a perfect opportunity for someone smart and hungry who wants to learn how to run and grow a services business and production company.
This role is ideal for someone who will be working on their own projects, but remain on-call for Pod People projects as needed (during normal business hours).
Attend weekly sync meetings
Send weekly reports
Create contracts for new projects as needed
Source/book audio studios, tape syncers, and other assets for projects
Lead outreach efforts in expanding the database in key areas and/or demographics
Support VP of Operations with production and project management as needed
Post twice weekly on the private Facebook group for our producers, engaging the community
Draft monthly check-in email for the community
Onboard new producers as needed
Send weekly report on new onboarding efforts
Maintain Calendly for easy scheduling with new producers
Maintain database with producer updates

Source best candidates for new clients and projects
Assist in streamlining matchmaking
Assist in business development when appropriate
Additional production work is likely, with additional hours and pay to be provided.
