About Us
Pod People is based in Brooklyn and Los Angeles with team members in San Francisco, Austin, Denver, Philly, and more. We’ve also built a vetted global network of 3,500+ hosts, producers, journalists, scriptwriters, actors and other creatives, so that we can tap the right talent for any project.
At Pod People, we believe there is no such thing as branded content. Or rather, that all content is branded, if you really think about it.
Ted Lasso is branded content for Apple. Reacher is branded content for Amazon. Barbie was possibly the most successful piece of branded content ever made, to the tune of $1.5 BILLION worldwide. Duolingo, RyanAir and Scrub Daddy are owning it on TikTok. We never skip a Mint Mobile ad, because they’re so funny, they don’t feel like ads.
In order to break through the noise and earn your audience’s attention, successful brand storytelling needs three components:
Fantastic content — in line with your brand values — that resonates with the target demo
1
Strategic, creative, targeted marketing to find the right audience at the right time
The perfect talent for the kind of stories you’re telling
2
Since 2017, Pod People has been building an ace team that excels at all three.
